JAKARTA - Pertamina Patra Niaga through Pertamina Patra Niaga Region North Sumatra distributes fuel oil (BBM) using pioneer planes to the districts of Bener Meriah and Central Aceh, Aceh Province.

Efforts to distribute using pioneer aircraft were carried out because land access to the area was hampered due to natural disasters that occurred in the last few days.

Pertamina Patra Niaga's Corporate Secretary, Roberth MV Dumatubun explained, in this initial stage of distribution, Pertamina Patra Niaga sent 1,000 liters of Pertalite (equivalent to 5 drums) and 1,000 liters of Biosolar (equivalent to 5 drums).

The fuel was distributed partly to Bener Meriah Regency and partly others to Central Aceh Regency to support the recovery of community activities, government operations, public services, and logistics needs for disaster management.

Pertamina Patra Niaga ensures that energy distribution continues even though land access is cut off. Delivery through pioneer aircraft is the best option to accelerate the distribution of fuel to points in need. Energy must not stop, especially in disaster situations," said Roberth, Thursday, December 4.

Roberth added that intensive coordination was carried out with the Regional Government, BPBD, TNI/Polri officers, and all parties including pioneering flights to ensure smooth distribution to the hands of people in need.

Pertamina Patra Niaga will continue to monitor energy needs in affected locations and is ready to distribute them back by adjusting the conditions and situation at the location to accelerate Sumatra's recovery.
