Allocation Of Fertilizer Subsidy 2026 Set By 9.5 Million, Government Prepares Budget Of Nearly IDR 47 Trillion

JAKARTA - The government has decided that the allocation of subsidized fertilizers for the 2026 budget year will still be set at 9.5 million tons with a budget of almost IDR 47 trillion.

The allocation was approved in a limited ministerial meeting chaired by the Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan and attended by the Minister of Agriculture and Head of the National Food Agency Andi Amran Sulaiman, Minister of Trade Budi Santoso, President Director of Pupuk Indonesia Rahmad Pribadi, to Deputy President Director of Perum Bulog Marga Taufik.

The man who is familiarly called Zulhas said that this figure is not an absolute limit, but a budget ceiling that can change following the dynamics of fertilizer prices in the global market.

"(The Rp46 trillion subsidized fertilizer budget) is a ceiling, so it can go down, it can go up. But the most important thing is that fertilizer has volume," he said.

Sekadar informasi, alokasi pupuk subsidi sebesar 9,5 juta ton 2016 ini sama dengan volume yang telah ditetapkan untuk tahun 2025 melalui Keputusan Menteri Pertanian Nomor 644/KPTS/SR.310/M/11/2024 tentang Penetapan Alokasi dan Harga Eceran Tertinggi Pupuk Bersubsidi Sektor Pertanian Tahun Anggaran 2025.

Keputusan yang ditandatangani Menteri Pertanian Andi Amran Sulaiman pada 19 November 2024 itu merinci alokasi pupuk bersubsidi berdasarkan jenis dan jumlah untuk memastikan distribusi tepat sasaran.

For your information, the allocation of subsidized fertilizers of 9.5 million tons 2016 is the same as the volume set for 2025 through the Decree of the Minister of Agriculture Number 644/KPTS/SR.310/M/11/2024 concerning the Determination of the Highest Allocation and Retail Price of Subsidized Fertilizers in the Agriculture Sector for Fiscal Year 2025.

The decision, which was signed by the Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman on November 19, 2024, detailed the allocation of subsidized fertilizers based on types and quantities to ensure distribution is right on target.
