Rawit Chili Price Reaches IDR 55,250 Per Kg

JAKARTA - The National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) managed by Bank Indonesia noted that the food price of red cayenne peppers reached Rp55,250 per kilogram (kg), while broiler eggs were Rp31,800 per kg.

Based on data from PIHPS as reported in Jakarta, Saturday, at 10.30 WIB, in addition to red cayenne pepper and broiler eggs, it was recorded that food prices at the retail trader level were nationally, namely shallots of Rp44,700 per kg, then garlic at a price of Rp38,950 per kg.

In addition, lower quality I rice is priced at Rp. 14,300 per kg, lower quality II rice is Rp. 14,250 per kg. Meanwhile, medium quality I rice is Rp. 15,850 per kg, and medium quality II rice is priced at Rp. 15,700 per kg.

Then, super quality I rice at a price of Rp. 17,050 per kg, and super quality II rice Rp. 16,550 per kg.

Furthermore, PIHPS noted that the price of large red chilies reached IDR 59,950 per kg, curly red chilies IDR 64,500 per kg, and green cayenne pepper IDR 46,650 per kg.

Then, broiler meat at a price of Rp39,900 per kg, quality I beef Rp140,500 per kg, quality II beef at a price of Rp132,750 per kg.

The price of the next commodity, namely premium quality sugar, was recorded at Rp. 19,750 per kg, local sugar was Rp. 18,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, bulk cooking oil is priced at Rp. 18,650 per liter, packaged cooking oil is branded I at a price of Rp. 22,400 per liter, and packaged cooking oil is branded II at a price of Rp. 21,400 per liter.
