JAKARTA - A total of 264 Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) or Free Nutrition Food Kitchens (MBG) will initially be built this year. However, the Ministry of Public Works (PU) said that the construction of the MBG kitchen would only be carried out in 222 locations.
This was conveyed by the Director General of Strategic Infrastructure of the Ministry of Public Works, Bisma Staniarto, during the signing ceremony at the Ministry of Public Works office, Jakarta, Friday, November 21.
"Some are not ready to be implemented in 2025 in connection with several things, including the status of land ownership in the transfer process to local governments that have not yet been issued," said Bisma.
Thus, the number of SPPG locations that will be built by the Ministry of Public Works in 2025 is 222 locations spread across 29 provinces of Indonesia.
Bisma explained that 152 MBG kitchens will be built with a contract value of Rp1.23 trillion. In detail, physical packages and supervision of the construction of the SPPG 1 Building spread across 78 locations in Aceh Province, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Riau, Thousand Islands, Jambi and South Sumatra.
The package of the SPPG 1 Building will be implemented by PT Hutama Karya (Persero) with a contract value of Rp639.2 billion with a supervision consultant, namely PT Tata Karya with a contract value of Rp7.30 billion.
Then, physical packages and supervision of the construction of the SPPG 2 Building in 2025 spread across 74 locations spread across the provinces of the Bangka Belitung Islands, Bengkulu, Lampung, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, East Kalimantan and South Kalimantan.
The package of the SPPG 2 Building will be carried out by PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk with a contract value of IDR 581.2 billion with a supervision consultant, namely PT Ciriajasa Cipta Mandiri with a contract of IDR 6.30 billion.
"Paying attention to the number of location distributions not in each province, the number of work contract packages is divided into 3 regions, namely Physical Packages and Supervision Packages for the Development of SPPG Buildings 1, 2 and 3," he said.
The reference for the SPPG development design carried out by the Ministry of Public Works is the Ministerial Decree (Kepmen) PU Number 628/KPTS/M/2025 dated June 19, 2025, concerning the Design of the Prototype/Purwarupe Building of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit Building.
