PT Timah Tbk Deposits IDR 1.05 Trillion To The State Through Taxes And PNBP

PT Timah Tbk reported that it had deposited taxes and Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) of Rp1.05 trillion to the state until September 2025. This number increased significantly compared to the same period in 2024 which only reached Rp473.705 billion.

PT Timah Tbk's Corporate Secretary, Rendi Kurniawan, said that this achievement shows that in the midst of the dynamics of the global mining industry, PT Timah Tbk remains consistent in contributing significantly to state revenues, as well as supporting national development.

"The contributions of taxes and PNBP come from various components, ranging from income tax, value added tax, royalties, exit duties, to production fees that must be paid by the company as the holder of mining business permits," he said, Wednesday, November 19.

He added that PT Timah Tbk's contribution in the form of taxes and PNBP also supports the income of producing regions through the distribution of resources through royalties.

"As a mining company that represents the state, PT Timah Tbk has a moral and legal obligation to continue to maintain the level of contribution to the state. This PNBP and tax deposit is a tangible form that PT Timah Tbk not only manages natural resources, but also returns them for the benefit of the wider community," he said.

Rendi added that PT Timah Tbk continues to improve compliance and effectiveness in financial management, in line with the principles of Good Mining Practice and sustainable corporate governance.

In addition to providing income for the state, the company also continues to strengthen social contributions through the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, ranging from education, health, empowerment of MSMEs to environmental conservation and cultural customs.

In the future, he continued, PT Timah Tbk is committed to maintaining this positive trend through strengthening the company's fundamentals, operational efficiency, to increasing production.

"PT Timah Tbk not only wants to be a tin producer, but also an important part of the government's efforts to increase state revenue and strengthen the national economy," concluded Rendi.
