Affirming Future Business Commitment, TBS Energi Launches New Logo

JAKARTA - PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk today officially introduced its new identity, marking a major step in the journey of transformation towards a green and sustainable business.

TBS President Director & CEO Dicky Jordan explained, through an integrated strategy in the three main pillars, namely waste management, renewable energy, and electric vehicles, TBS affirms its commitment to provide economic growth in line with social and environmental values.

"This transformation is a continuation of the FFB2030 initiative, a roadmap for carbon neutralness which will be launched in 2021," he said, Wednesday, November 12.

He emphasized that this transformation is not just a change of identity, but a representation of FFB's long journey to become a company that focuses on sustainable business.

"Now we are entering a new chapter, strengthening the synergy across business units, and presenting green solutions that provide economic value as well as social benefits for the community," he continued.

Dicky further explained that the new FFB logo is the most real element of the identity of the company because it represents identity, value fought for, and the way FFB contributes and interacts with

the environment.

The logo design visually connects the FFB heritage with its transformation direction towards a low-carbon sustainability business.

The overall form of symbols is inspired by ikat weaving from various regions in Indonesia such as Toraja and Flores, which are known for their beautiful and deep geometric patterns. The sustainable line in the form of the 8 figure in the logo symbolizes balance, sustainability, and prosperity, in line with the spirit of FFB to continue to grow harmoniously with society and the environment.

Moreover, he said, in the last three years, TBS has expanded its footprint in the waste management sector by acquiring Asia Medical Environmental Services (AMES) and Indonesia's Environmental Indonesia (ARAH), as well as strengthening the ecosystem for managing medical, industrial and domestic waste in Indonesia.

The move was followed by a full acquisition of Sembcorp Environment Pte. Ltd. (SembEnviro) in Singapore, which is now transforming into CORA Environment.

This integration marks the regional expansion of FFB as well as strengthens operational capabilities, technology, and business scale in Southeast Asia. In the field of renewable energy, FFB has operated a 2x3 MW microhydro power plant in Lampung since January 2025.

Meanwhile, the Floating Solar Power Plant embedding project with a capacity of 46 MWp in Batam, which is collaborating with PLN Nusantara Power, is entering the construction stage and is targeted to be fully operational by the middle of next year.

Meanwhile, in the electric vehicle sector, TBS through Electrum continues to strengthen the integrated electric vehicle ecosystem, including vehicle assembly, battery technology, battery exchange infrastructure, and green financing.
