PT PLN (Persero) inaugurated the Public Electric Vehicle Charging Station (SPKLU) Center at the Yogyakarta PLN Customer Service Implementation Unit (UP3) Office, Bantul, Yogyakarta Special Region, Thursday 6 November.
The SPKLU Center is a large-scale electric vehicle charging center that has at least 10 charger connectors. This infrastructure is built in strategic locations and is equipped with integrated facilities and management to improve the convenience of EV users.
General Manager of PLN Central Java and DIY Distribution Main Units, Bramantyo Anggun Pambudi explained, the SPKLU Center at the Yogyakarta UP3 Office, consists of eight ultra fast chargers with a total of 16 connectors, one standard charger unit with one connector, and one two-wheeled SPKLU unit with 6 connectors.

Arsyadany explained, until November 2025, PLN together with strategic partners had operated more than 4,400 SPKLU units in 2,700 locations throughout Indonesia, including 308 EV Charger units in 198 points in Central Java (Central Java) and DIY.
