JAKARTA - The Ministry of Trade (Kemendag) through the Chicago Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) noted that Indonesia's superior jewelry product recorded a potential transaction of 1.87 million US dollars or around IDR 31.12 billion.

The transaction potential was successfully pocketed at the international jewelry exhibition, JA New York 2025, which will take place from 26 to 28 October 2025 at the Javits Center, New York, United States.

Head of the Chicago Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Dhonny Yudho Kusuma said that the MSME products participating in the exhibition are a concrete example of how Indonesian creative business actors are able to compete in the international market.

Dhonny said that participating in international exhibitions is part of the ongoing promotion of Indonesian creative products.

At the same time strengthening business networks to increase exports of added-valued products, especially in North America.

"We want to build an image of Indonesia not only rich in resources, but also superior in innovation and design. The achievements achieved by these MSME craftsmen reflect the quality and innovation of Indonesian jewelry products recognized by the world," he said in an official statement, Monday, November 3.

Dhonny said the jewelry products were marketed in the US through two Indonesian brands, namely Manoja Jewelry, and Titian Fine Jewelry and one US brand, namely Nakula Jewelry. Some of the products displayed include pearl jewelry, collections of silver jewelry and other metals such as yellowing and copper with a touch of modern ethnicity.

"This jewelry product represents the wealth of creativity and advantages of Indonesian craftsmanship," said Dhonny.
