The Government Optimizes Budget Absorption Through The Program Acceleration Task Force

JAKARTA - The government has formed a Task Force for the Acceleration of Government Programs to monitor and evaluate budget realization in various priority programs, including assessing the shopping capacity of each ministry and institution (K/L).

Deputy for Business Management and Development of State-Owned Enterprises, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Ferry Irawan emphasized that the government is committed to accelerating the realization of state spending by the end of 2025, especially starting in the fourth quarter.

"For earlier monitoring various government priority programs, we have also compiled a task force to accelerate government programs. This has three pokja, the first is the field of monitoring the realization of the budget," he said at the Sarasehan 100 Economist Indonesia event, Tuesday, October 28.

He added, through the Task Force for the Acceleration of Government Programs, it is conducting an evaluation of the spending capacity of each ministry and institution such as, absorption, and projection (outlook) of the respective K/L budgets.

Ferry said that if the evaluation shows that there are ministries or institutions that have not optimally spent their budget, the remaining funds will be transferred to other agencies that are better prepared to carry out President Prabowo Subianto's priority program.

"If not, for example, various records from the Minister of Finance will be shifted to other friends who have a more prepared program," he said.

Furthermore, Ferry explained, the second Pokja in the Task Force is tasked with accelerating program implementation and overcoming obstacles in the field (bottletracking).

"So, if there are obstacles in practicing implementation in the field, then this will be handled by the two-pokja," he said.

Sementara itu, Ferry menambahkan, Pokja ketiga fokus pada penyediaan dukungan regulasi dan aspek hukum yang dibutuhkan agar kebijakan pemerintah dapat berjalan lancar.

"Ini yang juga kita lakukan tadi, kalau dalam penyusunan kebijakan dibutuhkan support regulasi, ini yang kita lakukan dengan dibantu oleh pokja tiga," ujarnya.

Hingga akhir kuartal III-2025, realisasi belanja negara mencapai Rp2.234,8 triliun, atau sekitar 63,4 persen dari total outlook.

Meanwhile, Ferry added, the third Pokja focuses on providing regulatory support and the legal aspects needed so that government policies can run smoothly.

"This is what we also did earlier, if in the preparation of policies, support regulations are needed, this is what we do with the help of the three-pokja," he said.

Until the end of the third quarter of 2025, the realization of state spending reached Rp2,234.8 trillion, or around 63.4 percent of the total outlook.
