How Bank Jakarta Encourages Non-Cash Transactions Through Creative And Inclusive

JAKARTA Bank Jakarta officially presents an official payment system at the 2025 Malem Narasi Market which takes place in Hutan Kota, GBK, Jakarta 25-26 October 2025 as an effort to encourage the use of non-cash transactions, especially for the younger generation.

DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung who was also present at the opening of the event welcomed cross-party collaboration at the 2025 Narative Night Market.

"I saw that the crowd was amazingly good and the MSMEs also got the opportunity for them to sell their belongings. I frankly felt like when I was a child in a hometown called Pasar Malam, exactly like this," said Pramono.

He added that similar activities are expected to be held in various areas of Jakarta so that more residents can enjoy an atmosphere of togetherness and support the local economy.

"Hopefully something like this can be held in several places in Jakarta. I also offered to the committee, not only at GBK, if you want to go to Banteng Square or other places, Jakarta is happy to work together. Because I think this is a good moment for Jakarta residents to stay in touch, work together, gather, be comfortable, safe, happy, "said Pramono.

With the convenience of the transaction offered, Bank Jakarta also cooperates with MSME players who become tenants to implement non-cash payments, one of which is through the QRIS scan method.

President Director of Bank Jakarta, Agus H Widodo said, through providing payment systems to all tenants at the event, Bank Jakarta also played a role in increasing financial literacy through creative but still inclusive ways.

"Through our official payment system at the Malem Narasi Market 2025, we want to expand our public experience in easy, fast, and secure digital financial services," said Agus.

The Malem Narasi Market 2025 is a creative event organized by Narasi TV with various activities, such as talk shows, Jakarta entertainment parades, reading corners, and bazaars that involve various Regional Apparatus Organizations in the concept of Special Moment Collaboration with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.

In its implementation, this event also collaborates with DKI Jakarta BUMD, including Bank Jakarta, through the form of Special Activity Collaboration.

In particular, Bank Jakarta also presents booths with various interesting activities and mobile branches that visitors can use to access various Bank Jakarta product and service information.
