JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI revealed that as many as 513 Indonesian human resources (HR) have passed and are ready to carry out the delegation of roles of Chinese experts Railway for operations and maintenance ofASH.
KAI Vice President Public Relations Anne Purba said the figure was equivalent to 89 percent of the total 579 participants in the transfer knowledge program until October 2025.

Anna explained that the transfer knowledge program with Chinese experts Railway covers operations, maintenance of infrastructure facilities, and maintenance such as bridges, signals, rails, communications, electrical systems (OCS), and heavy equipment.
"Every participant takes part in a gradual training which includes High-Speed Railway Training, On the Job Training (OJT), and certification from the Ministry of Transportation," he said.
Anne emphasized that all training was designed so that KAI human resources were able to operate modern technology and instill sustainability values in the future transportation system. This step is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) point 4 concerning quality education and 8 points concerning decent work and economic growth.
