JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) has completed the distribution of government placement funds of IDR 55 trillion on October 16, 2025. Funds sourced from the Over Budget Balance (SAL) are allocated to encourage economic growth through financing to various productive segments.
BRI President Director Hery Gunardi said that the funds were channeled to various financing segments, where the largest financing was channeled to the micro segment, which was IDR 28.08 trillion, including through People's Business Credit (KUR).
On the other hand, financing to the corporate segment reached IDR 11.07 trillion and was directed to support the development of the national industry.
"This distribution encourages the revival of the people's economy at the grassroots level as well as strengthens the foundations of the strategic industrial sector as a driver of the national economy," he said, quoted on Thursday, October 23.
He added that the financing was also channeled to the commercial segment amounting to Rp10.13 trillion and the consumer segment amounting to Rp6.58 trillion. In these two segments, BRI encourages the strengthening of community economic activity through financial support for medium-scale business actors.
"This allocation is intended to maintain purchasing power and ensure the economy continues to move in various layers," he explained.
Hery ensures that financing is channeled selectively and measurably to productive sectors that encourage economic growth, including in supporting various government priority programs.
