JAKARTA - PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia or KAI Commuter has operated 11 new KRL facilities to serve Jabodetabek Commuter Line users.

The President Director of KAI Commuter, Asdo Artriviyanto, said that this latest series of KRLs is a modernization of railway facilities that have the latest technology called CLI-125 which is expected to meet the increasing needs of user services.
Initially, said Asdo, KAI Commuter operated 2 series of new KRL facilities, each consisting of 12 trains (SF12) on June 1, 2025 on the Bogor route and 1 series on the Cikarang route.
Furthermore, continued Asdo, KAI Commuter gradually operates as many as 2 series on June 11, 2025, July 25, 2025, August 22, 2025, and September 26, 2025. All of them operate after passing certification from the Directorate General of Railways (DJKA), Ministry of Transportation.
Currently, said Asdo, the operation of this new KRL facility for Commuter Line Bogor services is four series and the Commuter Line Cikarang is seven series.

Meanwhile, KAI Commuter's Public Relations Manager, Leza Arlan, conveyed the operation of this new KRL facility to serve Jabodetabek Commuter Line users, which averages 1.1 million users every day.

"With the increase in users, of course, adequate facilities are needed so that the movement of users from one place to another can be accommodated," said Leza.
