Wamenkop Calls KDKMP In North Maluku Opening The Trillion Capital Road

Deputy Minister of Cooperatives Farida Farichah said that October 2025 was a momentum for the Red and White Village Cooperatives (KDKMP), including in North Maluku (Malut), to pave the way for increasing regional economic growth, because it presents trillions of capital.

"The state is here for cooperatives. But this capital can only be utilized with mature business proposals, professional management, and productive partnerships," said Farida Farichah as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, October 3.

The Deputy Minister of Cooperatives said this is good news for people's business actors. Starting October 2025, KDKMP officially operates and becomes a driving force for the people's economy, so that the government also participates in preparing access to working capital and capital expenditures with an easier financing scheme through banks and non-bank institutions.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Governor of North Maluku, Hi. Sarbin Sehe, on that occasion emphasized that the KDKMP was the answer to the real needs of the village community.

"With digitalization, access to financing, and strong assistance, cooperatives will truly become people's economic homes and drive village welfare," he said.

As a reinforcement, the government has prepared more than 1,100 Project Management Officers (PMO) and 8,000 Business Assistants (BA) throughout Indonesia, which will assist thousands of cooperatives to be ready to compete and grow sustainably.

This coordination meeting brings together three provinces of West Java, North Sulawesi, and North Maluku, to equalize strategies, map out needs, as well as accelerate the birth of competitive modern cooperatives.

Separately, the Head of the Regional Office of the North Maluku Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Budi Argap Situngkir, was previously contacted to state that one of the priority programs was to accelerate the ratification of the Red and White Village Cooperative in North Maluku.

Budi Argap Situngkir stated, in order to collaborate with the North Maluku Provincial Government to accelerate the North Maluku Ministry of Law and Human Rights' strategic program in legal services and guidance, laws and regulations, and policy strategies.

"With cooperatives in villages/kelurahan in North Maluku, it will help move the community's economy," said Argap Situngkir.

Dia mengatakan, telah mengambil langkah dalam rangka akselerasi pembentukan Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih di Malut.

Bahkan, beberapa langkah yang telah dilakukan Argap Situngkir dan jajaran yakni bersurat secara resmi kepada Gubernur Malut, wali kota dan bupati se-Malut, dan koordinasi dengan Ketua Ikatan Notaris Indonesia (INI) dan Pengurus Wilayah Notaris Malut.

He said he had taken steps in order to accelerate the formation of the Red and White Village Cooperative in North Maluku.

In fact, several steps have been taken by Argap Situngkir and his staff, namely officially writing to the Governor of North Maluku, mayors and regents throughout North Maluku, and coordinating with the Chairman of the Indonesian Notary Association (INI) and the Regional Management of Notary North Maluku.
