JAKARTA - PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN), Subholding Gas Pertamina, affirms its commitment to supporting village development behind through various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs that focus on community empowerment, improving the local economy, health, and sustainable environmental management.

This commitment received recognition at the 2025 CSR & Development Villages (PDB) Awards which was held at the Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta, on Tuesday 30 September. The CSR & PDB Awards itself is a form of appreciation for business entities and institutions that actively encourage village development.

This year, the award was held in collaboration with the Indonesian Social Sustainability Forum (ISSF) with the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration (PDTT). In this event, PGN won four prestigious awards, namely two Golds and two Silvers, through excellent programs that run in various regions, including:

1. Gold The BHUMI BEmbesi (Batam) program, is a program that focuses on increasing the capacity of women groups in Binaan Panaran Village by focusing on developing MSMEs, agriculture, and waste banks as a form of circular economy.

2. Gold Program Pesona Tani Dewa (Muara Enim, South Sumatra), a program that encourages the independence and welfare of rubber farmers around Pagardewa Station by utilizing appropriate technology and adaptive governance to increase agricultural productivity.

3. Silver Sweet Harum Program (Cimanggis, West Java), a program to encourage the strengthening of active posyandu and the management of productive waste banks, this program focuses on improving the health and independence of Harjamukti-Cimanggis residents.

4. Silver SIDOBAK Program (Sidoarjo, East Java), This program optimizes local potential through the development of Family Medicine Plants (TOGA) and MSMEs, so as to encourage the sustainable economic independence of the community around Kalisogo Station.

The award was handed over directly by the Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration, H. Yandri Susanto, S.Pt., M.Pd., as well as the Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs of Indonesia, Dr. (HC) H. Zulkifli Hasan, S.E., MM, to representatives of PGN management.

Fajriyah expressed her appreciation for the award received. According to her, this achievement is proof that the CSR program run by PGN is able to provide real benefits for the community as well as in line with the goals of sustainable development.
