Coordinating Minister Airlangga: Formation Of Economic Acceleration Teams Help Move The Real Sector

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said President Prabowo Subianto had agreed with the proposed formation of a Special Team for the Acceleration of Economic Development.

According to Airlangga, the team will encourage debirocratization and debottlenecking of various industrial problems.

Thus, the government is optimistic that the team's existence can help move the real sector.

"Then the deregulation program already exists (in) Government Regulation (PP) Number 28. Well, we will encourage this acceleration team. Yesterday the President agreed (to form a team)," said Airlangga while attending the Green Initiative Conference (GIC) event at the Borobudur Hotel, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 17.

Airlangga said his team would consist of the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, the Minister of Finance (Menkeu) and the Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM.

"We will debirocratize and debottlenecking the existing problems, so that the real sector industry can move. The goal is that the real sector can move," he said.

If the real sector, in the future Indonesia's economic growth can be more easily achieved.

"The creation of jobs (also) is affected," he said.

Previously, Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadive revealed that the government had formed a Special Team for the Acceleration of Economic Development Programs.

The team was assigned to supervise and overcome various obstacles in the implementation of the national priority program run by the Government of President Prabowo Subianto.

"For the acceleration team for the economic development program, basically we will monitor all the main government programs or Pak Prabowo. So, in the future (the program) should not be jammed anymore. If there is traffic jams, we will accelerate so that it runs well," said Purbaya at a press conference at the State Palace, Monday, September 15.

In addition to functioning as program supervisors, said Purbaya, the team also opened special channels for business actors to submit complaints or obstacles in their business activities and each report will be discussed regularly.

"Secondly, we will also receive complaints from business people. Anyone who has a business still feels there is a disturbance in the economic system or when they do business, we will accept their report, we will hold trial in this team every once a week. So, this is like the Pokja 4 in the previous era," he said.

Dengan keberadaan tim itu, diharapkan secara signifikan dapat mengurangi hambatan yang dihadapi sektor swasta, sehingga pertumbuhan ekonomi digerakkan oleh swasta dapat berjalan seiring dengan pertumbuhan dari sisi pemerintah

"Saya harapkan dengan adanya tim ini, seluruh hambatan di sektor swasta bisa kami hilangkan dengan signifikan, sehingga mesin pertumbuhan swasta juga bisa tumbuh dengan baik seiring dengan mesin pertumbuhan punya pemerintah," pungkas dia.

With the existence of the team, it is hoped that it can significantly reduce the obstacles faced by the private sector, so that economic growth driven by the private sector can run in line with growth from the government side.

"I hope that with this team, we can eliminate all obstacles in the private sector significantly, so that private growth machines can also grow well along with the government's growth machines," he concluded.
