There Will Be A Reshuffle Volume II, Erick Thohir Is Called Menpora

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto is rumored to be reshuffling or reshuffling the Red and White Cabinet. This reshuffle is the second time during his administration.

The Red and White Cabinet Reshuffle was held at the State Palace, Central Jakarta, today, Wednesday afternoon, September 17.

Reportedly, this reshuffle is touted as well as filling two vacant ministerial seats, namely the Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs and the Minister for Youth and Sports (Menpora).

The name of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir is included in the strong candidate exchange of the Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora). Previously, this position was filled by Dito Ariotedjo.

The position of the Minister of SOEs left by Erick Thohir, will reportedly be filled by the Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM Rosan Roeslani. He also serves as CEO of Danantara Indonesia.

Regarding the news of this refreshel, Danantara's Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Deputy Minister of SOEs, Dony Oskaria, were reluctant to comment much.

Dony emphasized that the decision to change Erick Thohir and appoint Rosan was the President's full right.

"That's a prerogative," said Dony when met at the Office of the Coordinating Ministry for Food, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 17.

For your information, a number of ministers and several figures were summoned to the State Palace today. Erick Thohir was seen wearing a dark blue suit combined with a light blue tie at the Palace at 14:24 WIB. He was also seen wearing a colored cap.

The meeting is still ongoing, and the Palace has yet to provide an official statement regarding who will be sworn in in this afternoon's cabinet reshuffle.
