Telkom Reorganizes Management, Keeps Three Deputy Ministers As Commissioners

JAKARTA - PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) reshuffled the board through the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) which was held yesterday. The results of the meeting also decided to maintain three deputy ministers (wamen) as commissioners.

The three deputy ministers are Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) Angga Raka Prabowo; Deputy Minister of Agrarian and National Spatial Planning (ATR)/ Deputy Head of the National Land Agency (BPN), Ossy Dermawan; and Deputy Minister of Immigration and Corrections, Silmy Karim.

Silmy Karim has served as Commissioner of Telkom Indonesia since May 30, 2023. At that time, Silmy was still the Director General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (HAM).

Meanwhile, Angga Raka and Ossy Dermawan were appointed as the President Commissioner (Komut) of Telkom Indonesia on May 27, 2025 and continues to this day.

"Shareholders have approved changes to the composition of the company's management which is expected to strengthen the strategic direction of Telkom Group in accelerating digital transformation," said Telkom Indonesia's SVP Group Sustainability & Corporate Communication Ahmad Reza, quoted from an official statement, Wednesday, September 17.

Reza said that this change in management was a strategic step to strengthen Telkom's leadership foundation in the face of the dynamics of the digital industry.

"With the increasingly solid management structure, we are optimistic that we can accelerate transformation steps, bring sustainable added value to all stakeholders, and strengthen Telkom's contribution to the nation and state," he said.

Previously it was reported that Telkom's EGMS should have been scheduled for September 3, 2025. However, it was postponed for no apparent reason. Yesterday, Telkom's RUSLB was finally held.

As a result of this EGMS, shareholders eliminated the position of Deputy President Director (Wadirut) and removed Muhammad Awaluddin from that position. Awaluddin has only served for approximately three months starting from 27 May 2025.

In addition, shareholders added to the nomenclature of the new directors, namely the Director of Legal & Compliance held by Andy Kelana.

Management also appointed two people from Unilever Indonesia, namely Willy Salean, as Director of Capital replacing Henry Christiadi and Ira Noviarti in the position of Commissioner replacing Ismail.

For your information, Ira is the former President Director of Unilever Indonesia, while Willy Salean previously served as Director of HR Unilever Indonesia.
