Bulog Calls The Distribution Of Rice Food Assistance Capai 99.29 Percent

JAKARTA - Perum Bulog has realized the distribution of rice food assistance for the allocation in June and July 2025 of 363,000 tons.

This figure is equivalent to 99.29 percent of the total 365,500 tons ceiling.

For your information, this food assistance program is intended for 18,277,083 Food Aid Recipients (PBP) throughout Indonesia whose data is sourced from the Ministry of Social Affairs through the National Food Agency (Bapanas).

President Director of Perum Bulog Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani said that for the allocation in June and July 2025, Bulog distributed it at one time, so that each PBP received 20 kilograms (kg) of rice.

"This scheme was chosen so that the benefits of assistance can be felt faster by the community, especially in dealing with the dynamics of basic necessities in the field," he said in an official statement, Tuesday, September 9.

Rizal said the realization of the distribution of rice food aid for allocations in June and July 2025 had reached 99.29 percent.

He said, this achievement not only shows the smoothness of the distribution physically, but is also accompanied by a complete completion of the accountability administration.

"This achievement is clear evidence of Bulog's commitment to maintaining food security while at the same time supporting government programs to help the community. We make sure that Banpang is not only channeled physically, but also orderly in its accountability administration," he said.

Rizal said the 100 percent delay in the realization of the distribution of the alokassi rice food aid in June and July 2025 was due to the delay in the aid rice being held at the point due to technical problems in the field.

However, the government provides a policy that rice that has been sent to the point of distribution can still be distributed to PBP with a time limit of up to September 30, 2025.

"That way, people who have not received assistance can still take advantage of their rights according to the allocation that has been determined," he said.

Obstacles Faced By Bulog

Rizal also revealed that technical problems that are often encountered in the field in distributing rice from rice food assistance include several areas that are difficult to reach because they can only be accessed through air and sea transportation with a limited number of fleets.

In addition, Rizal continued, weather factors often affect the speed of distribution, especially to archipelagic and inland areas. Even so, Bulog together with local governments and distribution partners continue to look for solutions so that aid remains on time for the community.

"The success of the distribution of up to 99.29 percent cannot be separated from cross-party coordination, both with the central and regional governments, the TNI and Polri, as well as full support from the community. Bulog ensures that every kilogram of rice that has been mandated by the state will really be accepted by PBP according to the data and applicable regulations," he said.

Dengan capaian ini, Bulog menegaskan komitmennya untuk segera menuntaskan sisa penyaluran agar 100 persen penerima bantuan bisa merasakan manfaatnya.

“Kami akan terus berupaya agar seluruh masyarakat penerima mendapatkan haknya. Ini bukan sekadar angka, tetapi wujud nyata kehadiran negara dalam meringankan beban masyarakat,” pungkas Rizal.

With this achievement, Bulog emphasized its commitment to immediately complete the remaining distribution so that 100 percent of beneficiaries can benefit from it.

"We will continue to strive so that all recipients get their rights. This is not just a number, but a tangible manifestation of the state's presence in easing the burden on society," concluded Rizal.
