Sri Mulyani Officially Hands Over The Position Of Minister Of Finance To Purbaya Yudhi Sadivewa

JAKARTA - Sri Mulyani Indrawati officially handed over the leadership baton of the Ministry of Finance to Purbaya Yudhi Sadive.

The handover procession (sertijab) took place on Tuesday, September 9, at the Mezzanine Floor Hall, Djuanda I Building, Ministry of Finance, Jakarta.

Sri Mulyani congratulated Purbaya and at the same time conveyed her hopes and messages to the finance ministry.

"I would like to congratulate the new official Mr. Purbaya Yudhi. Congratulations on carrying out a very important mandate and responsibility, namely maintaining and managing state finances and leading the Ministry of Finance," he said.

He also hopes that the newly given Minister of Finance and success in carrying out his joint duties with President Prabowo Subianto.

In addition, Sri Mulyani also asked all levels of the Ministry of Finance to remain the foundation of stability and important instruments in creating social justice, people's welfare, and the progress of the nation.

"Prove tasks with trust, professional, competent, and maintain integrity. Help new leaders and continue to carry out their duties with dedication. I said goodbye to resign," he said.

Pengangkatan Purbaya sebagai Menteri Keuangan ditetapkan melalui Keputusan Presiden Republik Indonesia Nomor 86P Tahun 2025 tentang Pemberhentian dan Pengangkatan Menteri dan Wakil Menteri Negara Kabinet 2024–2029.

The appointment of Purbaya as Minister of Finance is stipulated through Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 86P of 2025 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of Ministers and Deputy Ministers of State of the 2024 '2029 Cabinet.
