JAKARTA - The Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) received an indicative ceiling for the 2026 budget year of IDR 28.48 trillion.

The budget is the largest allocated for non-operational expenditures of 72.29 percent of the total budget.

Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi said, initially the indicative ceiling set was IDR 24.40 trillion based on the Joint Letter of the Minister of Finance and Minister of National Development Planning/Bappenas Number S-356/MK.02/2025 and B-383/D.9/PP.04.03/05/2025 dated May 15, 2025.

Dudy said that of the total budget ceiling of the Ministry of Transportation in 2026, IDR 4.84 trillion will be used for personnel expenditures of IDR 4.84 trillion (16.99 percent), operational goods expenditures of IDR 3.05 trillion (10.72 percent), and non-operational expenditures of IDR 20.59 trillion (72.29 percent).

In terms of funding sources, the largest allocation came from pure rupiah of Rp. 19.70 trillion (69.16 percent) followed by PNBP of Rp. 3.79 trillion (13.34 percent), PLN of Rp. 2.76 trillion (9.69 percent), and BLU of Rp. 2.22 trillion (7.81 percent).

The details of the budget based on the program consist of management support of Rp9.77 trillion (34.32 percent) education and vocational of Rp1.83 trillion (6.44 percent), and connectivity infrastructure of Rp16.87 trillion (59.24 percent).

Meanwhile, Chairman of Commission V DPR RI Lasarus expressed his support for any acceleration of the work program of Ministries/Agencies to support economic growth.
