IKN Gets IDR 6.2 Trillion Allotment In 2026, Authority: There Is Still A Gap In Budget Needs

The Capital Authority of the Archipelago (OIKN) said the budget allocation in 2026 was set at IDR 6.2 trillion.

This was conveyed by the Secretary of OIKN Bimo Adi Nursanthyasto during a Hearing Meeting (RDP) with Commission II of the DPR RI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, September 4.

Bimo said that the budget ceiling of Rp. 6.2 trillion is still less than the total need for next year which will reach Rp. 21.18 trillion.

"The budget requirement to support the sustainability of the development program at IKN 2026 is IDR 21.18 trillion. So, from the budget temporarily allocated in the joint budget ceiling (SBPA) in 2026 of IDR 6.2 trillion, there is still a gap of IDR 14.92 trillion," he said.

Bimo explained that the IDR 6.2 trillion allocation was mostly used for strategic area development programs of IDR 5.6 trillion. While the rest is the allocation of management support.

"In the graph, the budget proportion of the strategic area development program allocation is IDR 5.6 trillion or 90 percent of the total allocation, while the rest is to support the management support program of IDR 600 billion," he said.

He said the budget allocation at the IKN Authority was distributed into 12 activities and seven activities in the strategic area development program and five activities in the management support program. Then, the largest allocation of activities in the development and development of facilities and infrastructure is IDR 5.2 trillion.

"The Rp5.2 trillion allocation is for the construction of office complexes, road and MUT infrastructure, state flats, piping networks and so on," he explained.
