JAKARTA - Commission XI of the House of Representatives approved a budget ceiling of the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) of IDR 2.59 trillion in the 2026 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN).

The approval was conveyed in a working meeting of Commission XI of the DPR with the Minister of National Development Planning/Bappenas Rachmat Pambudy at the DPR Building, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 3.

"Commission XI of the DPR RI approved the Budget Ceiling of the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas in the 2026 State Budget of IDR 2.59 trillion," said Chairman of Commission XI DPR RI, Mukhamad Misbakhun.

Meanwhile, Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas Rachmat Pambudy said the budget would be divided into two main programs, namely a management support program of around Rp. 1.53 trillion and a national development planning program of Rp. 1.07 trillion.

"From the 2026 budget ceiling of IDR 2.59 trillion, and this budget is divided into two main programs, namely the development planning program of IDR 1.7 trillion and the management support program of IDR 1.53 trillion," said Rachmat in a meeting.

Based on exposure material, the management support program includes payment of salaries and also a performance allowance of IDR 619.4 billion; building rental of IDR 330 billion; employee operations of IDR 36 billion and service support of IDR 542.3 billion.

Including President Prabowo Subianto's fast best result program (PHTC) such as free nutritious food (MBG), health checks, and superior school development.

"This budget is also to finance the function of one SDGs data and oversee the best results program quickly, including a prosperous card," he said.

Rachmat also said that Bappenas would continue to support the trident of President Prabowo's development, namely poverty reduction, quality human resource development, and sustainable high economic growth.

Furthermore, Rachmat said that the decline in the number of poor people is one of the important tasks, where in this program, starting from the preparation of data governance, the preparation of roadmaps to prosperous Indonesia, to the preparation of grand design poverty graduates towards prosperity, and including digitization of education.

"And also in this roadmap, being included in the program are other programs that support it," he said.

Meanwhile, for the development of human resources, Rachmat said that Bappenas prepared a road map for education, a national research policy framework, and a funding map and fulfillment of national nutrition.
