JAKARTA - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded that Indonesia's export value in July 2025 reached USD 24.75 billion, an increase compared to USD 22.53 billion in July 2024.

Meanwhile, the value of non-oil and gas exports in July 2025 increased by 12.83 percent, reaching a value of 23.81 percent compared to USD 21.10 billion in July 2024.
"The annual increase in export value in July 2025 was primarily driven by an increase in non-oil and gas exports, specifically animal and vegetable fats and oils (HS15), which rose 82.72 percent, contributing 7.08 percent," she continued.
The second-highest commodity was machinery and mechanical equipment and parts (HS 84), which rose 69.02 percent, contributing 1.76 percent. This was followed by precious metals (HS71), which rose 47.41 percent, contributing 1.66 percent.
She further explained that in July 2025, total non-oil and gas exports reached USD 23.81 billion, with a sectoral breakdown: agriculture, forestry, and fisheries contributed USD 0.58 billion.
The mining and other sectors contributed USD 2.70 billion, and the manufacturing sector contributed USD 20.53 billion.
On an annual basis, the agriculture and manufacturing sectors experienced increases, while the mining sector declined.

The increase in non-oil and gas export value occurred primarily in the manufacturing sector, which rose by 21.98 percent, contributing 16.42 percent.
