SMF And PNM Will Help Financing The Renovation Of 40,000 Houses, First Location Of Banten

JAKARTA - Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait (Ara) revealed that PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero) alias SMF together with PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) or PNM will help finance the renovation of 40,000 houses in order to realize the 3 Million House Program launched by President Prabowo Subianto.

"From our discussion, this year it was initially 20,000 for the renovation of the financing (house) between SMF and PNM. In fact, he (President Director of SMF) himself asked for an additional 40,000 (house renovations) thank you, sir. So, our people are given access to financing so that like President Prabowo's direction, out of the snares of moneylenders," said Ara at the BPS office, Jakarta, Tuesday, August 26.

Ara added that the house renovation target will first be carried out in Banten Province.

"So, we are working (with) PNM with SMF. Later, we want to make a single (home renovation program) in Banten, yes. Later, if possible, two more times in East Java and Central Java, sir," he said.

However, Ara did not specify when and the amount of the disbursement of financing from the SMF and PNM.

The reason is, the data on uninhabitable houses (RTLH) throughout Indonesia is still being compiled by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS).

In line with the Minister of PKP, Head of BPS Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti assessed that Indonesia's housing data must be harmonized from various parties, both ministries and institutions to non-governmental agencies, so that President Prabowo's priority programs are right on target.

"Buat BPS ini merupakan satu langkah untuk mengembangkan statissial. Dalam hal ini adalah statistik sektor perumahan. Kemudian, bagaimana data-data tersebut dikumpulkan ke BPS, lalu BPS melakukan validasi dan verifikasi," tuturnya.

Previously, Minister Ara proposed an additional budget for 2026 of IDR 48 trillion.

Meanwhile, the effective ceiling of the budget received by the Ministry of PKP is IDR 1.8 trillion next year.

"We propose an additional Rp48 trillion budget for 2026, so that the indicative ceiling is Rp49.8 trillion," said Ara at a Working Meeting (Raker) with Commission V DPR RI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, July 10.

Menurut Ara, usulan tambahan anggaran tersebut akan digunakan untuk Bantuan Stimulan Perumahan Swadaya (BSPS) senilai Rp45,55 triliun dengan target dua juta unit.

"Kami mohon doa dan dukungan dari teman-teman Komisi V. Kami mengusulkan dari usulan anggaran tersebut sebesar Rp45,55 triliun atau 91,37 persen untuk anggaran BSPS dengan target dua juta unit rumah di 2026," ucapnya.

According to Ara, the proposed additional budget will be used for Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance (BSPS) worth IDR 45.55 trillion with a target of two million units.

"We ask for prayers and support from friends of Commission V. We propose from the proposed budget of Rp45.55 trillion or 91.37 percent for the BSPS budget with a target of two million housing units in 2026," he said.
