JAKARTA - Amien Sunaryadi was appointed as the recipient of the 2025 GRC Lifetime Achievement Award organized by the Governance, Risk & Compliance Management (GRK) Association. This award is given to national figures for their dedication, real contribution and visionary leadership in advancing governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) in Indonesia.
"I would like to thank the Indonesian GRK Association and the GRC community for giving me this award. My Passion has been more about eradicating corruption, so many things I know in this field," said Amien when receiving the award in Yogyakarta, last Friday, August 22.
The 2025 GRC Lifetime Achievement Award reminded Amien of his achievements 25 years ago. He and his colleagues formed the Good Governance Assessment Institute (LPGG) and succeeded in becoming winners in the Development Marketplace Innovative Competition 2000 (DM-2000) organized by the World Bank in Washington DC. Departing from this innovation, Amien hopes that GRC can also be applied not only to a company, but to the DPR as a form of improving democracy in Indonesia.
Throughout his professional work, Amien's experience is not far from the anti-corruption, anti-purchases, risk management, Good Corporate Governance (GCG), and other fields.
