Minister Of PKP Handover Receives Key To Subsidized Houses For Kahatex Factory Workers

JAKARTA - Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait (Ara) gave subsidized housing keys to workers and workers of PT Kahatex in Sumedang Regency, West Java. He is also happy that the subsidized housing program from President Prabowo Subianto can be felt by the community.

"Today, I am very happy and happy because many workers and workers from the textile factory PT Kahatex in Sumedang Regency, West Java, as well as people in West Java and Banten received subsidized housing keys. They used the FLPP mortgage to finance the subsidized housing because the DP was only 1 percent, the interest rate was 5 percent and the installments were low," said Ara as quoted from his written statement, Saturday, August 23.

Ara thanked Bank BJB President Director Yusuf Saadudin and Bank BJB Syariah for working professionally in carrying out subsidized housing programs for 1,000 FLPP debtors.

"I also thank the President Director of Bank BJB and BJB Syariah who have worked with a clean and professional heart to carry out mass contracts and hand over keys to houses for 1,080 FLPP debtors," he said.

"Bank BJB is also the bank for regional development to distribute the most FLPP mortgages for subsidized houses from all BPD banks in Indonesia," he continued.

According to Ara, President Prabowo has increased the FLPP quota to 350,000 this year and is the largest in Indonesian history. In addition, said Ara, there are also incentives for the people, namely free BPHTB and PBG and DTP VAT for the people of MBR.

"I thank you for the performance and support of the housing ecosystem for the 3 million homes program," he said.

Meanwhile, Director of PT Kahatex Patrick said he was happy with the government's support in providing subsidized housing for its workers.

He considered that the existence of affordable FLPP mortgage installments was very helpful for workers to be able to own a house rather than having to rent a house.

"Of the 25,000 workers at PT Kahatex, around 50 percent still do not have a home. Thank you to the Ministry of PKP who encouraged the FLPP mortgage for workers," he added.
