First Meeting With Commission VI Of The DPR, KAI President Director Bobby Rasyidin Introduces Himself

JAKARTA - President Director of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI Bobby Rasyidin attended a hearing with Commission VI of the DPR. This meeting was the first for Bobby as Director of KAI.

During the meeting, Bobby introduced himself that previously he served as President Director of PT LEN Industry.

My name is Bobby Rasyidin as the President Director of PT Kereta Api. Previously, I was the President Director of PT LEN Industri, Holding the Defense Industry. So it's a little different, from defense to train," he said in a meeting with Commission VI of the DPR, at the DPR Building, Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Wednesday, August 20.

Bobby said he had only served as Director of KAI for four days. Likewise with other directors who have just been appointed to join the ranks of other directors.

"We are still new and still four days away. We were appointed on August 12, 2025, this is our fourth day on duty at PT Kereta Indonesia," he said.

Then, Bobby conveyed the assets managed by the company. He said that currently KAI manages four very important assets.

The first is Sarana. There are 11,312 facilities consisting of 464 locomotives, almost 2,000 passenger trains. And 7,700 freight carriages, 985 KRL and KRD, and recently we have 153 LRT as well," he said.

"Then we also manage 608 stations. More than 6,000 km of active infrastructure is in the form of tracks and others," he continued.

Previously, the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and Danantara Indonesia removed Didiek Hartantyo from the position of President Director (Managing Director) of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI. Instead, Bobby Rasyidin was appointed to occupy the position.

Bobby himself previously served as President Director of PT Len Industri (Persero), the holding company for the Defense Industry BUMN, DEFEND ID.

Not only at the helm, the Ministry of SOEs and Indonesian Danantara also carried out reshuffles to the ranks of the Board of Commissioners and other KAI Directors.

This reshuffle is contained in the Decree of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises and the President Director of the Company (Persero) PT Danantara Asset Management as Shareholders of the Company (Persero) PT Kereta Api Indonesia Number: SK-224/MBU/08/2025 and SK.039/DI-DAM/DO/2025 dated August 12, 2025.
