Pertamina Ensures Pertalite Stock In Rembang Is Safe, Urges Residents Not To Panic Buying

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Central Java ensures that the supply of Pertalite type fuel oil (BBM) in Rembang Regency, Central Java, is in a safe and sufficient condition for the community's needs.

Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR Pertamina Patra Niaga JBT Taufiq Kurniawan said Pertalite's stock availability at all major supply points to distribution agencies was maintained. The distribution of fuel also takes place normally without problems.

"We make sure the fuel stock is safe and the distribution process runs regularly. The public is advised to buy fuel as needed and not to do 'panic buying', because the stock is very sufficient," said Taufiq in Rembang, Antara, Friday, August 15.

Currently, there are 26 gas stations operating in Rembang Regency, all of which provide Pertalite. Pertalite's stock in the area reaches 377 kiloliters.

"With normal daily consumption, the available stock is able to meet a four-fold increase in demand," he said.

Rembang Regency received Pertalite supplies from two main terminals, namely Tuban Fuel Terminal and Semarang Fuel Terminal.

This condition further strengthens guarantees of availability, especially since there are no distribution disturbances such as disasters or riots.

Taufiq invites all parties, including the community, government, and law enforcement officials, to oversee the distribution of subsidized fuel so that it is right on target.

"If there is fraud in the distribution of subsidized fuel, the public can report it to the authorities for follow-up," he said.

In addition to gas stations, in Rembang there are also eight Pertashops that actively serve the community. Pertamina provides product and service information services through the MyPertamina application or Pertamina Call Center 135.
