President Director Of Resignation, Danantara Boss Ensures Operational Agrinas Food Runs Normal

JAKARTA - Chief Executive Officer, Danantara Indonesia Rosan Roeslani opened his voice regarding Joao Mota's resignation from the position of President Director (Managing Director) Agrinas Pangan Nusantara.

He said his party respected the decision.

"Danantara Indonesia respects Mr. Joao Angelo De Sousa Mota's personal decision to resign from the position of President Director of PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara," he said in an official statement, Monday, August 11.

"We respect this decision as a professional step, and it will be processed according to the applicable company's provisions and governance," continued Rosan.

Rosan also ensured that the operation of Agrinas Pangan Nusantara would continue to run normally.

He said services to partners and stakeholders would also be carried out as usual.

"All operations of PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara continue to run normally. Services to partners and stakeholders will be carried out as usual," he said.

Regarding the replacement for Joao Mota, Rosan said the transition process would be carried out in an orderly and planned manner. The goal is to ensure the smooth running of the company's strategic programs

"The leadership transition process will be carried out in an orderly, measurable and planned manner to ensure the smooth running of strategic programs and the sustainability of the company's directions and goals," he said.

Previously, Joao Angelo De Sousa Mota officially resigned from the position of President Director of PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara.

The resignation coincided with six months of leading the food SOE.

The resignation has been officially submitted to the management of Agrinas Pangan Nusantata. Furthermore, the letter will be submitted to the Anagata Nusantara Resources Investment Management Agency (Danantara).

"I am the President Director of PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara to convey that today, August 11, 2025, we will continue our resignation which was handed over to Danantara this afternoon," said Joao Mota at a press conference, in Jakarta, Monday, August 11.

Joao also apologized, because for 6 months serving as President Director of Agrinas Pangan has not been able to contribute to the national economy or contribute to realizing the welfare of the community and farmers who are the goals of Agrinas.

"Therefore, we deeply regret it, we apologize to all citizens, especially farmers, to the state and the president who have shown us to carry out this position," he said.

"So allow me, submit my resignation and allow me to apologize," continued Joao.

For your information, Joao Angelo De Sousa Mota was officially appointed as President Director of PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara as of February 10, 2025 through the Decree of the Ministry of SOEs No. 32/MBU/02/2025.
