Pertamina Patra Niaga Collaborates With PGN To Market CNG Products

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga collaborated with PT Pertamina Gas Negara (PGN) to strengthen the marketing of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) as alternative energy.

Pertamina President Commissioner Mochamad Iriawan said this collaboration was part of Pertamina's great efforts in maintaining national energy security.

"With great national natural gas potential, CNG development is an important step in joint efforts towards energy independence. Synergy between Pertamina Subholding must be a new foundation for national energy resilience while providing real value for Pertamina's business performance," said Iriawan, Thursday, August 7.

Deputy President Director of Pertamina Oki Muraza emphasized that the collaboration is part of the government's great mission to encourage efficiency, reduce energy imports, and integrate national energy supply chains.

"CNG is an important part of the national energy efficiency strategy. With the potential savings of up to half a million tons of LPG, this synergy is a concrete step to support energy security and increase Pertamina's business capacity as a group," said Oki.

Oki added, with an integrated approach, synergy between subholdings not only expands the market, but also creates overall operational efficiency and effectiveness in Pertamina's body.

Pertamina Patra Niaga President Director, Mars Ega Legowo Putra, stated that this collaboration not only expands the product portfolio, but also opens up great opportunities to market CNG as alternative energy and product choices to consumers.

We view this collaboration as an opportunity to strengthen CNG market penetration. This product offers price efficiency, supply reliability, and high relevance to industrial and transportation needs. With PGN's support, Pertamina Patra Niaga is ready to expand its service and business network," explained Mars Ega.

Dalam jangka pendek, optimalisasi 30 Stasiun Pengisian Bahan Bakar Gas (SPBG) berkapasitas kurang lebih 30 MMSCFD menjadi salah satu fokus utama.

"Melalui langkah terintegrasi ini, diharapkan Pertamina Patra Niaga dapat menghadirkan solusi energi yang berkelanjutan, efisien, dan adaptif terhadap dinamika kebutuhan pasar," tandas Mars Ega.

In the short term, optimizing 30 Gas Fuel Filling Stations (SPBG) with a capacity of approximately 30 MMSCFD is one of the main focuses.

"Through this integrated step, it is hoped that Pertamina Patra Niaga can present energy solutions that are sustainable, efficient, and adaptive to the dynamics of market needs," said Mars Ega.
