Deputy Minister of Public Works (PU) Diana Kusumastuti said the construction of a Free Nutrition Food (MBG) kitchen or also known as the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) had not yet started at this time.
"As far as I know, not yet," Diana said in response to VOI's question when met after the press conference of the Indonesian Architects Association (IAI) in Jakarta, Thursday, August 7.
Diana also revealed a number of reasons, ranging from the unavailability of the budget to the planned process which is still in process to date.

Diana explained that the budget allocation for the construction of the MBG kitchen was still being processed at the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) before being given to PU.
"The budget is in BGN. But, right, if we do it, we can also pay it there, like that," said Diana.
"But, this is the process, right, he said, it must be transferred to PU. It must be from the Ministry of Finance," he continued.
Although later the budget for the construction of the MBG kitchen came from the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Diana ensured, there would be another process at the Ministry of Public Works.
"But, right, there must be a province first, it goes into our budget first, like that. Then we can move," he said.
Previously, the Ministry of Public Works and the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) signed a memorandum of understanding regarding the acceleration of the construction of the MBG kitchen.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by the Minister of Public Works Dody Hanggodo and the Head of BGN Dadan Hindayana at the Ministry of Public Works office, Jakarta, Monday, July 21.
Dody said that his party will maximize the development of the SPPG infrastructure until the end of 2025.
"God willing, we will maximize it until the end of 2025. Because at least from what we are targeting 1,542 (SPPG), some of them can be (worked). This is actually the beginning of the big step forward," he said.
He said that his party would learn from its original experience, namely building a People's School (SR) assigned by the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos).
However, said Dody, his party still encounters the same obstacles as the construction of the People's School, namely the matter of land.
Meanwhile, Head of BGN Dadan Hindayana said, later there will be three patterns in the construction of SPPG. First, partnership.
"This partnership is now the backbone of the National Nutrition Agency. Today, there are 3,233 Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units already running," explained Dadan.
