Can Sell 3 Kg Elpiji, Red And White Cooperative Turns Into Sub Base

JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia revealed, after being inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto on Monday, July 21, now the Red and White Village Cooperative has now changed its status to sub-baseline to sell 3 kilograms of LPG (kg).

"They have a base and we give them a revision of the space to become sub-baselines," Bahlil told the media crew at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Building, Tuesday, July 22.

Bahlil said that despite providing sub-basement status, the government still pays attention to the effectiveness and absorption of LPG in sub-baselines.

Previously, the President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero), Simon Aloysius Mantiri, revealed that Pertamina took a role in the distribution of LPG through the Red and White Cooperative.

Simon emphasized that Pertamina's role as an energy SOE not only ensures the availability of energy, but is also part of efforts to build a strong rural-based populist economy.

"Through this program, Pertamina supports and encourages equal access to energy while strengthening the village economy as part of national development," said Simon, Monday, July 21.

He added that Pertamina is committed to supporting improving village welfare, one of which is through the distribution of LPG in village cooperatives, thus expanding the access of the village community to LPG products.
