Starting August 1, Garuda Indonesia Opens Jakarta-Samarinda PP Flight Route

JAKARTA - Garuda Indonesia airline starting August 1, 2025 will soon operate the Jakarta-Samarinda pp flight route. This flight to and from Samarinda will operate every day using a Boeing 737-800 NG fleet with a capacity of 162 passengers.

Director of Commerce Garuda Indonesia, Reza Aulia Hakim explained, the opening of flight routes to and from Samarinda is a real step for the Company to expand Garuda Indonesia's air connectivity network.

"This step also actively acts as a driving force for economic turnover in the eastern region of Kalimantan, both through tourist and business visits," Reza said in a statement to the media, Saturday, July 19.

The flight to Samarinda will depart from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport via a GA-580 flight at 08.05 WIB and arrive at Aji Pangeran Tumenggung Pranoto Airport, Samarinda at 11.20 WITA.

On the other hand, flights from Samarinda are scheduled to depart at 12.05 WITA on a GA-581 flight and arrive in Jakarta at 13.15 WIB.
