JAKARTA - The world of the heavy equipment industry in Indonesia continues to show positive activity. In recent years, the need for efficient technology and supply services that are fast is in the main spotlight, especially in the midst of accelerating national infrastructure development. Industry players are now not only looking for quality products, but also supporting ecosystems that are able to answer operational challenges in the field.
Industrial meeting activities, technology exhibitions, and relationship forums are important means to bridge these needs. In one platform, heavy equipment providers, contractors, funding partners, to project owners can meet directly and exchange information. Interactions like this open a more concrete space for collaboration, especially in terms of services and provision of spare parts.
Demands for time and cost efficiency make the availability of supporting infrastructure, such as warehouses, an important part of the heavy equipment supply chain. Warehouses that are integrated with spare parts distribution systems can cut waiting times and speed up the repair process in the field. Therefore, the role of distributors is not only assessed by product quality, but also the readiness of its full-sale service.
Along with the development of the construction and mining sectors, many companies have started investing in more structured service systems. This investment is not limited to machine technology, but also to relationships with consumers, loyalty programs, and other long-term supporting facilities.
One example of this effort is the SANY Mini Expo 2025 event held by PT. Sany Makmur Perkasa at its head office, West Jakarta. This event became an open event for more than 1,000 industry players to see firsthand the innovations and service systems offered by the SANY heavy equipment brand. In this expo, participants can interact with technical teams, financing partners, as well as try directly the units on display.
An important moment at the event was the inauguration of a new 1,500 square meter warehouse that will strengthen the distribution system of SANY spare parts in Indonesia.
"This inauguration of the warehouse is part of our commitment to build a fast and responsive selling service for the needs of the heavy equipment industry in Indonesia," said President Director of PT Sany Makmur Perkasa, Riyan Wiguna, in a written statement, Saturday, July 19.
Teguh Yuli Pitoyo, Director of Sales & Marketing, said that the construction of this warehouse is in line with the company's vision to improve service readiness.
