JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) reported that more than 900,000 vehicles passed on six sections, which applied a 20 percent discount for 10 days of the national holiday period and the 2025 school holiday.
In percentage terms, there was an increase in the volume of vehicles by 87 percent compared to the normal period.
Executive Vice President (EVP) Corporate Secretary Adjib Al Hakim said the discount program aims to support the smooth mobility of the community as well as reduce travel costs.
"Despite the application of the tariff discount, the interest of toll road users who pass to tourist destinations or their hometowns is expected to be due to the national long holiday period and the 2025 school holiday," said Adjib in a written statement, quoted Friday, July 18.
The six sections that apply tariff cuts, namely the Terbanggi Besar (Kayu Agung) Toll Road, the Indralaya "Prabumulih (Indraprabu) Toll Road, the PekanbaruDumai Toll Road, the Indrapura' Kisaran (Inkis) Toll Road, the Kuala TanjungTebing TinggiParapat (Kutepat) Toll Road and the SigliBanda Aceh Toll Road.
Then the two additional sections that have just been implemented from the second period (27-29 June 2025) are the Pekanbaru 'XIII Koto Kampar Toll Road and the Bengkulu'Taba Penjung Toll Road.

In the future, Hutama Karya will conduct periodic evaluations and consider the sustainability of the policy, including tariff cuts during the upcoming national holiday momentum in order to improve the benefits and efficiency of toll services.
