Commission XII Of The House Of Representatives Of The Republic Of Indonesia Appreciates The Achievements Of The Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources Which Won The 2024 WTP Opinion

JAKARTA - Commission XII of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI) expressed high appreciation to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) for its success in achieving an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) for the Financial Statements of the Fiscal Year 2024.

In the meeting, it was explained that the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources succeeded in improving the quality of its financial statements, which were marked by the acquisition of the WTP opinion, an increase from a Fair Opinion with Exceptions (WDP) in 2023.

"We express our appreciation for the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources for receiving Unqualified Opinions (WTP) for the 2024 LKPP Central Government Financial Reports by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK)," said Chairman of Commission XII DPR RI Bambang Patijaya quoted Tuesday, July 15.

The success in financial management is also reflected in the performance of the Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) of the ESDM sector.

Based on data presented by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, the realization of PNBP in 2024 reached Rp269.65 trillion.

This figure exceeds the set target, which is IDR 238.39 trillion with an achievement of 113 percent.

This positive performance is supported by contributions from oil and gas, mineral and coal sub-sectors.

"Meanwhile, the realization of PNBP for the ESDM sector as a whole until June 2025 amounted to Rp. 117.17 trillion, 46 percent of the target of Rp. 254.49 trillion. So, God willing, for the APBN target we can achieve it as a whole. For 2025, even though the work is tough," Bahlil explained.

Commission XII of the DPR RI also hopes that this achievement can be maintained and improved in the future.

With accountable financial reports, the DPR can carry out budgeting and supervision functions more optimally, ensuring that every rupiah in the state budget in the ESDM sector is really used for the greatest prosperity of the people.
