JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BRI reported that it has succeeded in distributing Wage Subsidy Assistance (BSU) in 2025 to 2.8 million beneficiary accounts with a total nominal value of IDR 1.72 trillion.
The distribution is carried out in three stages, namely:- Phase 1: 1.1 million accounts with a value of Rp695.46 billion- Stage 2: 803,000 accounts with a value of Rp481.95 billion- Phase 3: 919 thousand accounts with a value of Rp551.81 billion
Previously, in 2020, BRI distributed BSU to around 1.4 million workers as beneficiaries. Then in 2022, BRI again carried out the assignment with a wider scope, distributing aid to 3.2 million workers with a total value of IDR 1.92 trillion.
The entire distribution process by BRI is carried out in an integrated and data-based manner from the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker).
BRI's Corporate Banking Director Riko Tasmaya said that this assignment was in line with BRI's role as an agent of development.
"We are grateful for the government's trust in BRI in this BSU distribution. Through our network that is spread to remote areas, as well as the use of BRI digital banking technology such as BRImo and AgentBRILink, BSU distribution can be carried out more efficiently and reach all levels of society," he said, Wednesday, July 9.
As a bank with the widest service network in Indonesia, BRI ensures the ease of access to disbursement of BSU funds through various channels. Beneficiaries can disburse funds through the BRImo Super Apps, through more than 742 thousand BRI e-Channel units, and 1.19 million BRILink Agents spread throughout the country.

The government also targets as many as 17 million workers with a maximum salary of Rp. 3.5 million per month or the minimum wage of the province or district/city (UMP/UMK) who are entitled to receive the assistance. In addition to workers who have wages below Rp. 3.5 million, as many as 3.4 million honorary teachers can also receive BSU of Rp. 300,000.
Riko added that BRI's success in distributing BSU does not only provide stimulus for people's purchasing power, but is also a clear evidence of collaboration between the government and the banking sector in accelerating the recovery of the national economy.
