Deputy Minister of Cooperatives (Wamenkop) Ferry Juliantono believes President Prabowo Subianto will make the Red and White Villages Cooperative a National Strategic Project (PSN) because it will change the direction and paradigm of the national economic system from the nebular to the center.

"This is not only the task of the Ministry of Cooperatives, but involves 18 ministries and institutions involved in the Task Force," said Ferry, quoted on Saturday, June 21.

He added that the task of the Task Force for the Acceleration of the Establishment of the Red and White Kopdes was to ensure that rural people were the destination of all the resources owned by the state to be channeled to villages.

"Later on, it is hoped that there will be growth in villages, both economic, social, and others. In fact, various problems in villages such as tengkulak, moneylenders, and loans, will be resolved by the presence of the Red and White Kopdes/Kel," said Ferry.

Currently, he continued, the formation stage of 80,000 Kopdes/Kel Merah Putih has entered the final round and has been 100 percent formed.

"Later, in early July for three months, it will enter the operational stage. It must be admitted, this stage will be much more difficult," said Ferry.
