JAKARTA - PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) held an Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for the 2024 Financial Year in Jakarta, Thursday, June 12.
In the AGMS which was held at the Borobudur Hotel, shareholders agreed to the appointment of Lt. Gen. TNI (Ret.) Bambang Ismawan as President Commissioner and Independent Commissioner.
Bambang served as the Chief of General Staff of the TNI for the period 2023-2024 and has an educational background in the National Resilience Institution (Lemhannas), Army Staff and Command School (Sesko AD), Advanced Education of Officers II and Advanced Education of Officers.
Previously, the position of President Commissioner was occupied by Irwandy Arif and Independent Commissioner was held by Carlo B Tewu. For information, Carlo B Tewu is a retired National Police officer who is remembered for his success in arresting the youngest son of the 2nd President of the Republic of Indonesia, Tommy Suharto in 2002.
E. Piterdono HZ, and Andi Pahril Pawi were also expelled from the position of Independent Commissioner.
The GMS also approved the honorable dismissal of Suhedi from the position of Director of Operations and Production, Suherman as Director of Human Resources, and Rafli Yandra from his position as Director of Business Development.
