Waskita Working On Road Projects At IKN Worth IDR 396 Billion

JAKARTA - PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk received a contract of IDR 396.6 billion to work on the Package D Road Improvement project in the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) 1B-1C of the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN), East Kalimantan.

Director of Operations II Waskita Karya Dhetik Ariyanto said this project would connect various vital areas in IKN.

"Waskita Karya continues to support the government's plan to build IKN. So, the improvement of Package D Road at KIPP 1B-1C is one of the main projects that supports the development of government centers to connect various vital areas there," said Dhetik as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, June 11.

Through this road improvement, continued Dhetik, it is hoped that an infrastructure can be realized that is able to encourage economic growth as a whole. That way, it will contribute to improving the quality of life of the community and realizing sustainable development.

Previously, he said, Waskita Karya had worked on 12 IKN projects with a total value of Rp. 8.2 trillion.

The projects include the Secretariat Building and Supporting Building, ASN 3 Flats, and the 3B Section IKN Toll Road KKT-Karingau- Tempadung Intersection which is equipped with the Animal Bridge.

"There are also several IKN projects that we have completed. Call them IKN Segment 5A Toll Road, IKN Feeder Street (District), and the office area of the Coordinating Ministry (Kemenko) 3, and Coordinating Ministry for 4," he explained.

The work on this project was marked by the signing of a contract carried out by the Head of Operations Division II Waskita Karya Mochamad Waskito Adi as the Master of Operations Cooperation (KSO) and the Commitment Making Officer XIII-2025 of the IKN Authority Work Unit (OIKN) Almi Madhani at IKN, Wednesday.
