JAKARTA - Garuda Indonesia has completed the HajI Phase I flight for the departure of Indonesian pilgrims in 1446 Hijri to the Holy Land. A total of 91,198 prospective pilgrims were dispatched to Jeddah and Medina.

"Taking lessons from previous years and being supported directly by experienced teams, this year Garuda Indonesia is taking significant improvement steps. This makes all Garuda Indonesia teams and related stakeholders able to optimally anticipate and mitigate potential irregularities, both at the embarkation and debarkation stations," explained the Deputy Minister.

Ahead of the phase of repatriation of pilgrims which will start from June 11 to July 10, 2025, Garuda Indonesia will continue to strengthen coordination with the relevant airport authorities and other stakeholders to ensure service readiness for pilgrims while at the airport, during the trip, until arriving at the destination city is in accordance with aspects of comfort and safety.
