Cooperating With Law Enforcement Officials, PTBA Secures Mining Assets And Operations

JAKARTA - BUMN Holding Indonesian Mining Industry, MIND ID, affirms its commitment to maintaining the security of mineral natural resources and strategic assets of the State as part of the constitutional responsibility and mandate of the 1945 Constitution Article 33 paragraph 3.

This effort is realized through strengthening strategic cooperation between MIND ID, PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), and the Indonesian National Army (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) in order to support the security of mining operations, especially coal, so that it runs sustainably and continues to make optimal contributions to the nation and state.

Director of Risk Management and HSSE MIND ID Nur Hidayat Udin explained that security and safety aspects are the main foundations in carrying out MIND ID Group operational activities.

He also emphasized the importance of collaboration with the TNI to ensure that all operational lines are protected from various potential disturbances, including illegal mining that can harm the state.

"As a Mining Industry Holding BUMN, MIND ID has a big responsibility to ensure that all activities run safely, in an orderly manner, and in accordance with the principles of good governance," said Nur, Wednesday, May 28.

Meanwhile, strengthening this collaboration includes supporting territorial development and securing assets in the operational area of the MIND ID Group.

He added that the company consistently carries out the strategic activity by prioritizing integrated strategic asset security and strengthening internal governance at the operational level.

Thus, security can be increased and risks can be minimized to the lowest level, thus having an impact on improving performance and production, along with a more conducive operational environment.

"With strong synergy, we are optimistic that we will be able to protect all strategic assets of the country and increase the added value of the natural resources that we manage for Indonesia's future," concluded Nur.
