He added, in the roadmap belonging to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, there are 500 oil wells that will be auctioned by Pertamina in the period 2025 to 2026, then in 2027 and 2028 2,000 wells will be tendered.
The idle wells that have the potential to cooperate are located in the Sumatra region. Meanwhile, the 500 wells that will be tendered are mostly in land or offshore areas, and only 60 wells are located off the coast or offshore.
"Pertamina has reported to the task force that they have opened data for cooperation in managing unemployed wells," continued Ariana.
