The Ministry Of Cooperatives Emphasizes The Active Role Of All Parties In Accelerating The Establishment Of The Red And White Kopdes

The Ministry of Cooperatives (Kemenkop) emphasizes the active role of all parties as well as coordinating with stakeholders, including the head of the provincial and district/city offices (kadis), as well as the village/kelurah head, will accelerate the formation of the Red and White Village Cooperative (Kopdes/Kel).

Deputy Minister of Cooperatives (Wamenkop) and Coordinator of the Daily Executive Task Force for the Acceleration and Establishment of the Red and White Kopdes/Kel, Ferry Juliantono, said that coordination between agencies and the acceleration of the implementation of the Special Village Deliberative Council (Mus Rumor) at the village level is expected to increase the achievement of the targets that have been set.

"All parties are expected to play an active role in achieving the success of this program," said Ferry, quoted from an official statement in Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, May 21.

The Deputy Minister of Cooperatives continued, he has the task of helping provincial and district/city district heads prepare cooperatives in villages and sub-districts.

"Because it will be more effective, the National Task Force for the Acceleration of the Establishment of the Red and White Village Cooperative is assisted by the Head of the Office, to continue and continue activities to accelerate the implementation of the Rumor Mus at the village-village level in the areas led," said Ferry.

Through Presidential Decree (Keppres) No. 9 of 2025 concerning the Task Force for the Acceleration of the Establishment of Red and White Village Cooperatives and the Socialization of Presidential Instruction Number 9 of 2025 concerning the Acceleration of the Establishment of Village Cooperatives/Redih Putih Villages, the government has established strategic steps to accelerate the formation of cooperatives at the village and sub-district levels.

Deputy Coordinating Minister for Cooperatives Ferry continued, in the near future the inauguration of the Red and White Village Cooperatives that had been formed, such as in Aceh, East Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, Lampung and Central Sulawesi.

On the other hand, Secretary of the Ministry of Cooperatives (SesKemenkop) Ahmad Zabadi added, in the context of accelerating the formation of the Red and White Village Cooperative, there has been a significant change in the organizational structure which leads to increased efficiency and effectiveness.

This happened in line with the issuance of Presidential Decree No. 9 of 2025 which regulates the division of tasks and responsibilities in the Acceleration of the Establishment of Village/Redih Village Cooperatives throughout Indonesia.

Zabadi said that although there had been progress in the implementation of the Mus rumor, there were still challenges in achieving the target of forming the Red and White Village Cooperative, considering that currently, only about 30 percent of villages have carried out rumors.

"With the completion target until the end of May, acceleration is needed in the formation process to achieve the target that has been set," he said.
