The Ministry Of PKP Will Prepare One Tower For The General Public At IKN

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) will provide housing for the general public in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan.

This was conveyed by the Head of the Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN) Basuki Hadimuljono while accompanying PKP Minister Maruarar Sirait (Ara) while inspecting a number of residential construction sites in the IKN area.

"The visit of the Minister of PKP (Ara) brings innovation that he will build flats not only for ASN Hankam, but also for the community," Basuki said in a written statement, quoted Monday, May 19.

Basuki explained that the Ministry of PKP plans to build a tower of IKN flats.

The flat can be occupied by non-ASN general people who are interested in living in IKN.

However, it has not been specifically stated when the flat tower will begin construction.

"Although one tower, this will bring progress that IKN also provides housing for the community," he said.

Meanwhile, Minister Ara said, the residential development policy must reflect President Prabowo Subianto's direction, namely targeting all levels of society.

"The President's directive must also have housing for the community, especially small communities. It is important that the TNI, Polri and ASN, but of course our people are also important to get opportunities," he said.
