The Ministry Of Public Works Calls Regional Infrastructure Inpres (IID) Needs A Budget Of IDR 15 Trillion
JAKARTA - The Directorate General of Highways of the Ministry of Public Works (PU) will immediately stop the implementation of the Regional Road Instruction (IJD). Instead, the government is working on the establishment of the Regional Infrastructure Inpres (IID).
Director of Systems and Strategies for the Implementation of Roads and Bridges at the Directorate General of Highways, Ministry of Public Works, Reiza Setiawan, explained that Regional Infrastructure Inpres is projected to require a budget of up to IDR 15 trillion.
"We also report that the identification of the need for regional road inpression that already exists and identified in Bina Marga is around Rp. 15 trillion, which has not been handled from the previous data," said Reiza at the Opening of Regional Consultation (Konreg) of the Ministry of Public Works in 2025 at the Public Works Auditorium, Jakarta, Friday, May 9.
Based on the report, the Rp15 trillion budget consists of Rp7.4 trillion to carry out projects related to food.
Meanwhile, the remaining Rp7.6 trillion will be used to support non-food projects in the form of connectivity, industrial estates to tourism.
"Later, when this Presidential Instruction has been issued, it will be proposed again [budget needs (Rp 15 trillion) and will be operated again in accordance with the President's Astacita," he said.
Previously, the Minister of Public Works (PU) Dody Hanggodo said that the Ministry of Public Works' budget for 2025 increased to IDR 73.76 trillion.
Even so, the latest additional budget has not been reported to Commission V of the DPR RI.
Previously, the Ministry of Public Works budget ceiling for 2025 was affected by efficiency from IDR 110.95 trillion to IDR 29.57 trillion.
