Bulog Lampung Notes 162 Grain Reduction Places To Become Maklon Partners

BANDAR LAMPUNG - Perum Bulog Kanwil Lampung noted that 162 grain drying stations in the area had become macron partners in drying wet rice harvested by farmers.

"For drying partners, there are already 162 partners who work together to dry the farmers' harvest grain. These partners have helped us in saving wet rice from the harvest so that it can be processed immediately," said Head of Bulog Regional Office of Lampung, Nurman Susilo in Bandarlampung, Saturday.

He said the total amount of wet unhulled rice that had been dried by the grain drying partner was 6,700 tons, with a milling capacity of 3,330 tons.

"If we look at the potential in some areas, the harvest has decreased, but the great potential for harvest can still occur in the areas of Central Lampung, East Lampung, South Lampung because the harvest period has not yet been completed. Meanwhile, Tulang Bawang, Pringsewu, Mesuji and Pesawaran still have the harvest remaining," he said.

He continued, his party is optimistic that the absorption and drying of grain can still be carried out optimally, especially in three areas that have not been completed through the harvest period.g

"There can still be a lot of absorption of unhulled rice because there are three areas that are still in the main harvest, for drying partners it will continue to be added so that grain is not damaged," he said.

He continued that the scheme for the issuance of farmers' crops, either for needs in Lampung or to help fulfill regional consumption around him, is still waiting for assignments from the center.

"We focus on absorbing wet or dry grain and farmers' rice first now. Because currently there are still many areas that do rice harvest," he said.

He also hopes that Bulog will have more partners from private companies who participate in absorbing and drying grain from farmers' crops at a standard price of IDR 6,500 per kilogram.

Previously, in February 2025, the rice drying partner in charge of helping the farmers' wet grain in Lampung was only 125 macron partners with a capacity of 5,500 tons per day.
