PT Hutama Karya (Persero) has completed the construction of the Junior Attorney General's Building for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) worth IDR 318.99 billion.
This project is a rejuvenation of buildings which includes design and build, structure, architecture, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) and landscape work.
The project, which was carried out with a design and construct or design and build contract, was carried out for 340 calendar days.
Executive Vice President Corporate Secretary Hutama Karya said that the Jampidsus building was designed with a unique architectural concept, namely an asymmetric circle with a design resembling a sword tear which is a symbol of Jampidsus itself.
Meanwhile, the design of the building itself takes the essence of the image of Jampidsus with open pieces of maroon color according to the special criminal logo to give an exclusive impression.
"The highest tilting element at the top of the tear symbolizes the sharpness of the sword, while the details and lighting of the massive fasad are the result of the rotation of the stars," said Adjib in a written statement, Wednesday, April 30.
Adjib added that the 18,206 square meter building has met the requirements as a Green Building Building (BGH).
The building implements various environmentally friendly features, such as double glass glass for thermal inflation, solar panels as a renewable energy source, rainwater and gray water recycling systems as well as efficient air lighting and cooling systems.
The Jampidsus building consists of 13 floors of the workspace and 2 basement layers, which function as administrative management, coordination to supervision in the field of national regulation enforcement.
In addition, this building is equipped with various modern facilities to support the prosecutor's operational activities, such as the examination room, expert room, consulting room, task force room to the forensic room.
Then this building is also designed with a sophisticated security system covering CCTV with facial recognition features and fingerprint access control in certain rooms.
"In working on this project, we implemented an innovation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and a 3 shift work system to maximize the effectiveness of work, especially because the work location is close to public facilities," he said.
"We are also coordinating intensively with all stakeholders regarding the draft technical specifications, the process of approval and application of quality assurance and quality control during the implementation," he continued.
Furthermore, Adjib hopes that this new building can improve the effectiveness of Jampidsus' performance, because it is designed to accommodate more employees and provide more complete and modern supporting facilities.
According to him, this building is also connected to existing buildings, thus facilitating the transition and coordination between departments.
"The construction of the Jampidsus Building has further strengthened Hutama Karya's portfolio in building government buildings, especially in the Jakarta area," he explained.
