"The target for the next 5 years Bappenas has also determined that the export growth is around 6 percent. The workforce is 27.6 million people and the investment growth is around 7 to 8 percent," he said in the OJK Infinity 2.0 launching, Thursday, April 24.

According to him, by continuing to communicate with the ecosystem through associations to ensure that this funding can be applied on target, including for the animated, game, application, fashion, and other sectors.

The government is also targeting that in the next five years, the creative economy sector can contribute up to 8 percent to GDP, because it absorbs more than 27 million workers and grows into the main motor of national exports and investments.

"So in the next 5 years, the government has also targeted the contribution of GDP to the creative economy sector to reach 8 percent," he said.

According to him, this requires a collective commitment to make the creative economy a new engine for national economic growth.

Meanwhile, Teuku also said that with the support of a funding scheme, especially digital-based ones, it is the key in encouraging innovation and development of the creative economy sub-sector in Indonesia.

"God willing, it can be even higher. But this is the important thing that our ecosystem is actually waiting for. Funding Innovation, especially maybe If there is funding in a digital way, right? But that's what we are trying to sit on. How do we need time to sit down Hopefully it won't take too long, "he said.

Regarding sector targets, such as animation or films that will get support from this additional funding, he explained that the process will go through mutual curation.

We will both curate, meaning that we are because each sector has different cases, meaning that maybe for animations like this For games like maybe there is a little bit of touch Then for application as well as Application developers Or maybe even other sectors such as fashion and others So we are sitting, he added.

He also emphasized that the government continues to communicate with creative economy ecosystem players through various associations so that this funding scheme can be designed as aplicationable as possible, so that it really answers the needs of creative economy actors in Indonesia.
